It’s hard to believe that in less than a week we will be in Holland preparing for our performances for the Treaty Of Utrecht 300th Aniversary Celebrations. The project has been in the making for a year between the Stut Choir, Inishowen Gospel Choir and ourselves. On Friday the 21st of June, the two Choirs and ourselves will present a 30 minute performance as part of a longer concert in Utrecht City Theatre. There will be pieces written especially by both choirs, a couple of Henry Girls songs plus a couple of Irish Folk Songs. It promises to be something special.
On the Saturday night (June 22), We, The Henry Girls, will do our first headline show in Holland at Roots Aan De Zaan in Zaandam, which is 20 mins from Amsterdam. Opening the show will be Jack Cody and Cian O Maonlai, who are travelling all the way from Dublin.
We are very much looking forward to it all. K, L & J xx
